Sundream Partners with La Playa Centro Comunitario to Support Impactful Initiatives in the Community
Sundream is thrilled to announce our partnership with La Playa Centro Comunitario to support their impactful initiatives in the community. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with a community center that has been making a positive difference in the lives of local residents for the past six years.
Thanks to our donation, La Playa Community Center will activate five initiatives that will touch different groups of the community during the Sundream event and in the long term:
LOCAL MARKET STAND DURING SUNDREAM EVENT
Support and promotion of local commerce among the more than 3,000 attendees with the participation of local producers and artisans.
SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR LOCAL FISHERMEN
Financial support for projects that promote ecosystem protection and better fishing practices. La Playa has been a fishing community since the first natives arrived to live in the region. Local fishermen are one of the most important groups in the community, many families depend on the fisheries and healthy ecosystems in the ocean.
PUBLIC BEACH CLEAN-UP
Efforts will be made for a cleaner beach and a healthier environment for La Playa community in San José del Cabo.
PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT OF THE FISHERMEN'S PARK
So that youth and children can develop their sports, social, and recreational skills in a healthy environment under optimal conditions.
DONATION TO LA PLAYA PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL
Technological equipment such as a new projector and printer, as well as books and educational materials, will be donated to students.
We are excited to work alongside La Playa Centro Comunitario in their efforts to create a better future for the community of La Playa, El Rincón de La Playa, and neighboring areas. Our donation will help make these impactful initiatives possible, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have.
